For those familiar with cinematography, you’ll know how notoriously difficult one-shot, single-take scenes are.
Without diminishing the gravity of the situation, here’s a small detail:
Around 2:39, the cameraman appears to bump into the bunker doorway as he walks back.
And if you have a moment, it’s worth watching the full video to understand the atrocities Ukrainians are enduring. 👇🏼
🇺🇦 UKRAINE
Zelenskyy Marks
Year Four
European leaders turned up in Kyiv on the fourth anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion, while President Zelenskyy told Ukrainians that Vladimir Putin has not "broken" them and has not achieved his goals.

Commemoration. On Tuesday, Feb 24, European Council president António Costa and European Commission president Ursula von der Leyen arrived in Kyiv by train alongside eight EU PMs and presidents to mark four years since the invasion and honor the dead.
Ukrainian President Zelenskyy and first lady Olena Zelenska joined foreign leaders in a ceremony.
The visitors were also set to tour an energy facility recently destroyed by Russian missile and drone strikes.
US. The Trump administration sent no senior officials to Kyiv, showing a more equidistant US posture as attempts to end the war have stalled.
Anniversary. Zelenskyy used the date to argue Ukraine has defended its independence and preserved statehood, even as Russia still holds nearly 20% of Ukrainian territory.
A Washington-based war tracker, the Institute for the Study of War, estimated Russia captured only 0.79% of Ukraine's territory over the past year of fighting.
A recent estimate from the Center for Strategic and International Studies put total casualties on both sides as potentially reaching 2 million by spring.

Sheinbaum Weighs
Suing Musk

Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum (left) and Elon Musk (right).
At a Feb. 24 news conference, Mexican President Sheinbaum says her government is reviewing whether to sue Elon Musk after he accused her administration of being under cartel control.
She called the accusation "absurd."
Post. Musk wrote on Feb. 23 that Sheinbaum was "just saying what her cartel bosses tell her to say," in response to a 2025 video where she argued that returning to a war on drugs was not an option because “it is outside the framework of the law.”
Critics say she is using “human rights” concerns to justify not declaring a war on the cartels, fueling online accusations that she is a cartel plant.
However, her supporters argue that even in cases involving drug gang violence, cartel members must be tried in a court of law.

Gunmen blocked major roads, torched cars and buses, and fought with government forces in retaliation for the killing of “El Mencho.”
Backdrop. This online clash comes just days after Mexican officials said the armed forces killed Nemesio Ruben Oseguera Cervantes, known as El Mencho, in a Feb. 22 military operation in Jalisco.
Officials have described subsequent violence including shootouts and road blockades in multiple states as the government tried to regain control.
📌 Context. Sheinbaum leads the MORENA party and has rejected calls to revive a full-scale war-on-drugs approach. Many point to Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele’s widely praised gang crackdown as a prominent example of a popular and necessary use of military and police force to restore order.

Iran Nears Chinese
Supersonic Missile Deal

Chinese-made CM-302 supersonic anti-ship missiles
Iran is close to a deal with China to buy supersonic anti-ship cruise missiles.
The missiles in question are the Chinese-made CM-302, with negotiations said to be in their final stretch and no delivery date set.
Deal. Six people with knowledge of the negotiations described the CM-302 purchase as near completion in talks that began at least two years ago and sped up after the 12-day Israel-Iran war in June 2025.
As negotiations entered late stages last summer, Iran's deputy Defense Minister Oraei was among senior Iranian military and government officials who traveled to China.
Meanwhile, China's foreign ministry says it is not aware of the reported missile talks.
Weapon. The CM-302 is described as supersonic with a range of about 290 km (180 miles), designed to fly low and fast, and experts are warning it would significantly strengthen Iran's ability to threaten naval vessels operating in the region.

🇺🇸 UNITED STATES
Trump Reopens
Iran Threat

President Donald Trump delivers the State of the Union address to a joint session of Congress in the House chamber at the US Capitol in Washington on Feb. 24, 2026.
President Trump used his Feb. 24, 2026 State of the Union to argue Iran is restarting nuclear work and chasing missiles that could reach the US, even as an American armada crowds into the region.
He again framed diplomacy as his preference while signaling he may strike if talks fail.
Speech. Speaking to a joint session of Congress in a 1 hour 47 minute address, Trump said Iran ignored warnings and is "working to build" longer-range missiles, despite US and Israeli strikes last June on nuclear sites at Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan that he said "totally obliterated" Iran’s program.
Diplomacy. Trump said negotiations are ongoing, and he has dispatched Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff and his son-in-law Jared Kushner to meet Iranian officials in Geneva.

Pressure. Trump also revisited Iran’s January crackdown on protests in Tehran tied to economic distress, citing a death toll of "at least 32,000" and calling the regime "terrible people."
He referenced a Jan. 13 Truth Social post telling protesters that "help is on its way," and implied his threats altered Iran’s behavior.
Online critics, however, point to Trump’s repeated shifting of his “red line,” arguing that his “help is on its way” post ultimately contributed to the deaths of “at least 32,000.”
