Assassination fail

Hi Global Recap readers,

Our OG readers may remember that we used to start these newsletters with stories that restore faith in humanity.

Today is a good day to revisit that tradition:

TLDR: A young boy, mistaking a successful entrepreneur for a homeless person, offered him a dollar—the boy’s entire net worth, which his father had given him for getting good grades.

In return, the entrepreneur reciprocated the kindness by offering a 40-second shopping spree at BuckFeather, the sporting goods store he owns and operates.

That being said, today marked the start of Putin’s fifth term as President. 👇

"The choice is theirs: do they intend to continue trying to restrain the development of Russia, continue the policy of aggression, incessant pressure on our country for years, or look for a path to cooperation and peace?”

🔘 Future: As Putin steps into his new term, the world watches to see how he will navigate nuclear tensions, the war in Ukraine, and relations with the US, especially with the upcoming US presidential election.

🇦🇺 Australia
Prime Minister warns China

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese called a recent air incident involving Chinese military and Australian defense personnel over the Yellow Sea “unacceptable,” highlighting tensions in international airspace.
