🇨🇳 China’s Hacking Secrets Exposed

A massive data leak reveals how China’s top spy agency hires private contractors to hack and spy on its targets around the world.

• Who Leaked: The files, originating from a state-backed contractor firm named iSoon, reveal how China targets foreign governments, telecoms, and software companies.

• Targets: The leak mentions at least 20 hacking targets, including India, Vietnam, South Korea, and NATO.

• Services: The firm provided services such as,

  • Operating disinformation campaigns and hacking accounts on X for $100,000.

  • Gaining access to personal information linked to social media accounts like Facebook for $278,000.

• Tools: The hackers exploit vulnerabilities in software made by Microsoft, Google, and other companies.

The files, containing a variety of files such as document screenshots, messages, and an employee directory, have been made available on GitHub.

Russian authorities have shown Alexey Navalny’s mother his body, but are trying to coerce her into agreeing to a “secret funeral.”

Spain

🇪🇸 Kremlin’s Hitmen Strike in Spain

A Russian defector who flew his helicopter to Ukraine was assassinated in Spain on Feb. 13.

Now, Spanish intelligence services are accusing Russia of hiring hitmen to do its dirty work.

• Defection: Maksim Kuzminov defected from Russia in August 2023, and received a $500,000 reward from Ukraine for his act. He then left for Spain under a false identity.

• Murder: Kuzminov was shot six times and run over by a car in Villajoyosa.

Russia

🇷🇺 Putin’s Poison Squad Exposed

Another jailed Russian opposition figure has accused a group of FSB agents of being behind the killings of several Kremlin critics, including Alexey Navalny.

He is also urging fellow Russians not to give up after the death of Navalny.

• Poisonings: Vladimir Kara-Murza says he was poisoned twice by the same FSB unit that attacked Navalny with a nerve agent in 2020.

• Where: He made the allegations from his prison cell in Siberia, where he is serving a 25-year sentence for treason.

Palestine

🔫 Palestinian Gunmen Kill

Three Palestinian gunmen opened fire on a highway near an Israeli settlement in the occupied West Bank, killing one person and wounding more than a dozen others. Israeli police said they shot and killed two of the attackers, while the third was wounded and arrested.

• Escalation: The shooting is the latest in a series of violent incidents in the West Bank amid the ongoing war in the Gaza Strip.

• Reactions: Hamas has described the attack as a “natural response” and urged more Palestinians to take up arms.
