🕵️♂️ Navalny’s Death: A KGB Classic

Alexey Navalny may have been killed by a single punch to the heart, according to an activist who supposedly has insider intel.
This technique is said to be an old method of the KGB’s special forces divisions.
If this is true, this is insane.
Meanwhile: As Russia delayed the probe into Navalny’s death and denied his family his body, his mother sued the investigators for withholding it. She begged Putin in a video to let her give him a proper burial.

United Kingdom
🚀 UK’s Nuclear Fail

UK’s Ministry of Defense (MoD) revealed that its Trident missile test went wrong last month, causing embarrassment for the UK’s nuclear submarine crew and the defense secretary.
What: The dummy missile failed to ignite and plunged into the sea near the launch site.
Reason: The Ministry of Defense (MoD) confirmed that an “anomaly occurred” during the exercise, but did not provide further details.
Confidence: The MoD said it had “absolute confidence” in the UK’s nuclear deterrent and that it was "safe, secure and effective.”
Note: that this is the second consecutive failure. A similar incident occurred in 2016 when a missile intended for destruction was fired toward Africa but it veered off course towards the US.

China
🇨🇳 China Slams US Veto
The US vetoed a UN resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, sparking outrage from China and other countries.
US: The US says the resolution would jeopardize the ongoing talks between Israel and Hamas.
China: China accuses the US of giving a “green light to the continued slaughter.”
Resolution: The resolution, proposed by Algeria, was backed by 13 of the 15 members of the UN Security Council, with the UK abstaining.

EU
🇪🇺 EU Blacklists Chinese Firms

In a groundbreaking move, the European Union has decided to blacklist companies in mainland China for the first time. This action comes after the death of Alexey Navalny, the most notorious critic of Putin.
Others: This is part of the EU’s 13th sanctions package, which bans 193 entities and individuals from doing business in the EU.
Target: These companies are accused of assisting Russia in obtaining prohibited items, among other potential breaches.

Iran
🇮🇷 Iran Blames Israel for Pipeline Blast

The verdict is out. Iran’s oil minister says Israel sabotaged and blew up Iran’s natural gas pipeline last week. However, no evidence was provided.
When: The blast occurred on Feb. 14, just days after Iran marked the 45th anniversary of its Islamic Revolution.
Attack: The oil minister said the explosion was an “Israeli plot” and a “terrorist action” against Iran’s energy infrastructure.
So, now what?
