Ukraine Attack Putin in Kremlin

🏙️ Vision of the Future

Hello again, Global Recap readers! With all the recent craze about generative AI, I wanted to start by sharing with you this AI-generated image.

AI’s vision: An Indian architect named Manas Bhatia used a generative AI service called Midjourney to envision the future of cities. He entered text prompts such as 'Utopian Technology' and 'Futuristic Towers' for his project 'AI x Future Cities.'

Many would assume that AI-generated images of futuristic cities would be purely mechanical, but Bhatia's vision includes buildings with vertical forests and vegetation, borrowing structural shapes from nature. Bhatia believes that incorporating nature into architecture is essential for a sustainable future.

Question: Personally, I love playing around with generative AI tools like Midjourney. Do any of you use any for personal or professional use? If so, what do you use it for?

🪖 Kremlin Attacked: But From Whom?

Drone Attack on Kremlin: In the early hours of Wednesday morning, two attempted drone strikes were made on the Kremlin. The Kremlin publicized the incident 12 hours later, claiming that the drones were an assassination attempt launched by Ukraine on Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Details of the Incident: According to Moscow, two “unmanned aerial vehicles” were intercepted and destroyed before they caused any damage or injury. Videos on social media appear to show two drones flying above the Kremlin and one exploding in an intense burst of light near the dome of the Kremlin.

Accusations: The Kremlin is blaming Ukraine for carrying out the attack under US orders. They are describing the purported drone attack as an “attempt on the President’s life,” even though Putin was not in the presidential residence. This allegation drew sharp denials from Kyiv and Washington.

One possibility is that the incident was the work of Russian partisans, as claimed by Ilya Ponomarev, a former Russian lawmaker linked with militant groups in Russia.

Aftermath: Moscow launched a wave of missiles at Kyiv following the incident. Messages written on Russian drones launched at Odesa overnight read “for Moscow” and “for the Kremlin,” according to the Ukrainian military.
