The ‘Luck of the Irish’ is Real
Good Morning Everyone, Let’s start with good news first.

A new poll showed the ‘luck of the Irish’ may be a real thing—with residents of Ireland reporting a greater prevalence of good fortune.
The survey revealed that those living on the Emerald Isle may actually experience more luck—tallying an average of 40 fortunate moments every year, nearly 10 percent more than people in the rest of the UK.

Protests in Israel
There have been plans by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government to change the Judicial system. The government claims that these changes are necessary to curb overreach by activist judges. But the protesters in Israel claim that this law will threaten democratic checks and balances on ministers by the courts. This reform has drawn massive protests from groups, including lawyers, and raised concerns among business leaders, widening the already deep political divisions. It has now been ten weeks since the protests have been going on, which is the largest protest since Netanyahu has come back to power and Opposition leader Yair Lapid told crowds in the southern city of Be'er Sheva that the country was facing "the greatest crisis in its history". Organizers say that approximately half a million pro-democracy protesters have taken to the streets.
