This is Putin's rating after the coup attempt:

Hello again, Global Recap readers! I don’t know about you but I’ve been loving the mainstream media’s subtle toasting of Putin lately. Take this for example:

I wonder if he is reading any of the articles claiming that he is toast. Maybe that’s why his latest popularity poll is what it is… 👇🏻

Lukashenko Fearing Russia’s Collapse

🚨 It seems like Lukashenko is fearing further uprising within Russia, which in turn can spread to Belarus - putting his dictatorship in jeopardy. In a recent news conference, Belarusian President Lukashenko announced that he has ordered his army to be on full combat readiness due to concerns about Russia’s potential collapse.

"If Russia collapses, we will be left under the rubble, all of us will die."

🪖 This actually happened during Wagner’s “march”, when The Kastuś Kalinoŭski Regiment called on Belarusians to take up arms against Lukashenko.

🔥 But Putin’s approval rating skyrocketed to 90% after the Wagner PMC mutiny, according to propagandist Sergei Markov. This is an increase from the previous reading of 80%. So why is Lukashenko fearing? He should be able to sleep soundly at night knowing that his Russian boss is beloved by nearly the entire population of Russia!

Putin Changing His Mind Yet Again

Putin keeps flip-flopping. He initially promised to drop all criminal charges against Prigozhin. But it was later discovered that the charges were indeed not dropped.

⏱️ Less than 12 hours later, Putin appears to have flip-flopped yet again. The FSB has announced today that it is dropping all charges against Wagner. As of now, the case truly seems to be closed, and Yevgeny Prigozhin, though not named specifically, looks set to walk free.

✈️ Incidentally, a plane linked to Prigozhin was tracked leaving the southern Russian city of Rostov early on Tuesday and landing in Belarus. President Lukashenko has confirmed his arrival and also announced that he has “offered them [Wagner] one of the abandoned military bases.”
