UFO or Drone? Ukraine’s Mysterious Encounter

Once again, we are back with a poll, but it’s different from prior ones.

A video posted online shows a disk-shaped object hovering in the sky near a Ukrainian war zone.

The footage was reportedly captured by a drone operated by the Ukrainian military, who were baffled by the sight.

🛸 Aliens? Some soldiers speculated that the object was a UFO, as it remained still despite the drone zooming in. But if it were a drone, why didn’t it shoot at the Ukrainian military?
🔥 Shootdown. This is not the first time a strange flying object has been spotted in the region. Russia and Ukraine have both claimed to have shot down unidentified balls and disks in the past.

Do you recall how Russian authorities threatened Navalny’s mother to keep her son’s funeral hush-hush?

⚰️ Funeral. Yulia Navalnaya, the widow of Russian opposition leader Alexey Navalny, has scheduled her husband’s funeral for March 1, and it’s not exactly a covert affair. She worries that she and other supporters will be detained at the site.
🇪🇺 EU. She delivered an emotional speech to the European Parliament on Wednesday. She accused Russian President Vladimir Putin and his close circle of being a “criminal gang” and called for the world to confront them.
🗳️ Opposition. During her speech, Navalnaya vowed to continue Navalny’s work and his struggle for a democratic and free Russia.

As Navalnaya fears arrest, some British lawmakers are also fearing for their security.

Why? They are being threatened and abused by Gaza protestors for their stance on the Gaza conflict.

What do they fear? Verbal attacks escalating into physical violence.

So they have now taken measures to protect themselves.

👮‍♂️ Security. The interior ministry announced funding worth 31 million pounds ($39 million) to provide new security provisions for lawmakers and other officials.
👋 Quit. After a suspected arson attack on his office and a series of incidents, Conservative lawmaker Mike Freer said he was standing down at the election after defending Israel.
🔥 Heat. Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has called on all sides to “take the heat” out of the issue but some of his Conservative lawmakers have been accused of Islamophobia in their responses.

President Biden is taking action to protect Americans’ sensitive data from China and other "hostile countries.”

He signed an executive order on Wednesday that aims to curb the sale of personal information by data brokers and other commercial entities.

🔒 Regulation. The order directs the Department of Justice to issue rules to safeguard data such as genomic, biometric, health, financial, and geolocation data.
🚫 Restriction. The order also instructs the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Justice to set high-security standards to prevent access to Americans’ data through other means, such as investment, vendor, and employment relationships.

In today’s world of AI where data is more consequential than ever, it will be crucial to see where this order leads.

A South Korean official revealed that North Korea is supplying Russia with weapons and shells in exchange for food and other necessities.

🚀 Missiles. The US confirmed that Russia has been firing North Korean missiles at Ukrainian cities.
🍞 Munitions. North Korea has delivered more than 10,000 containers of munitions or related materials to Russia since September while receiving food shipments from Moscow.
🤝 Summit. The arms trade began after North Korean leader Kim Jong Un met Russian President Vladimir Putin for a summit in Russia. Putin gifted Kim with a Russian-made limo recently too.

The Russian leader must be quite desperate.

The question is… is the food for Kim’s stomach? 🗿
